This handwoven rug, approximately 100 × 200 cm, is crafted from natural wool blended with cotton, resulting in a dense, looped surface with a pronounced tactile texture. The dominant ivory base sets a neutral foundation, complemented by three vertical color blocks—deep teal, magenta, and ochre-orange with a purple accent. Three edges are bordered by a black-and-ivory checkerboard pattern, with additional vertical black lines and a row of small squares at the bottom reinforcing its graphic rhythm. Short, natural fringes finish the piece, emphasizing its handcrafted origin. The design draws on traditional Berber geometric motifs, reinterpreted through a mid-century modern lens. Color blocks and the rhythmic checkerboard create a visual narrative of tradition meeting the present.
