This handwoven Beni Ouraine rug in the size of 100 x 200 cm is crafted from natural wool, giving it a matte, slightly fluffy finish. The main color is a warm, creamy white, complemented by two bold geometric accents: a vertical cobalt blue stripe on the left and a red zigzag motif running diagonally. The construction is based on traditional Berber techniques, completed with a line of short, hand-knotted fringes along the lower edge. The composition is contemporary in spirit while retaining references to classic Moroccan motifs. The rug speaks in a language of contrast: the simplicity of the background is met by the energy of colored lines, and the softness of the pile is offset by the dynamic geometry of the pattern. The design, abstract and asymmetrical, reflects the rhythm of hand weaving and an artistic freedom.
