This handmade rug, measuring 100 × 200 cm, originates from the Ouadzem region in Morocco. The construction is based on thick, natural wool fibres, creating a dense, soft, and slightly fluffy surface. The simple colour palette centres on a warm, matte terracotta orange, complemented by irregular geometric patterns in ivory. The motifs run vertically, with the composition finished by visible cotton fringes at the shorter ends. The rug features a tightly woven structure, carefully finished edges, and balanced proportions, giving it a minimalist yet modernist character with a clear nod to traditional Berber craftsmanship.
