This traditional Berber Moroccan rug, sized 100 × 200 cm, represents a contemporary take on artisanal craft from the Ouadzem region. Handwoven from thick, natural wool with possible cotton in the warp, the rug features a dense weave and a matte, soft surface. The dominant hue is a saturated, cool blue, offset by blocks of black, white, mustard yellow, and muted orange. The design is rooted in geometric abstraction: a central blue field is punctuated by irregular mustard dots, while the borders and sides display stripes and colour blocks. The lower edge is finished with hand-knotted off-white fringes; subtle pattern asymmetries highlight the authenticity of handcraft.
