This handmade Beni Ourain rug, measuring 140 x 260 cm, is crafted in Morocco from thick, natural wool. The construction features a matte, creamy ivory base with a subtle off-white undertone. A central band of geometric amber diamonds runs lengthwise, while black zigzag or chevron patterns, inspired by traditional Berber symbols, mark both sides. The plush, dense pile creates a softly textured surface, finished with short, hand-knotted fringes at each end. The design balances ethnic, tribal influence and minimal geometric order, rooted in Berber tradition yet adapted for contemporary comfort. The motif evokes the rhythm of desert tracks – contrasting forms and bold lines draw the eye along the rug's length.
