This handwoven rug made from pure wool, sized 150 × 250 cm, is crafted in the Ouadzem region of Morocco using traditional Berber techniques. The base is a matte, natural ivory wool adorned with bold black geometric patterns—stripes, zigzags, checkerboards, triangles, and linear motifs. The composition is asymmetrical, with clear references to mid-century modern and ethnic art. The rug's surface is thick and soft, featuring a tactile, textured feel, while hand-knotted wool fringes finish the edges. Visible handwoven details highlight the authenticity and robust construction. The graphic pattern, balancing tribal artistry and modern abstraction, introduces a rhythmic structure to the interior. The black-and-white palette creates a dialogue of light and shadow, and the matte pile suggests a gentle softness underfoot.
