This handmade Moroccan rug, measuring 150 x 250 cm, is crafted from premium wool with a touch of cotton, using traditional weaving techniques from the Midelt region. The composition features large geometric blocks and diagonal lines, clearly inspired by mid-century modern and abstract Berber traditions. The primary colors—deep, cool blue, warm rust-orange, creamy off-white, and a subtle black accent—underscore its graphic presence. The rug has a matte surface, dense and slightly coarse texture, and is finished with hand-knotted white fringes that enhance its artisanal authenticity. Strong construction and an even weave provide durability and a distinct visual impact. The balanced rhythm of the pattern brings a sense of order, while the interplay of saturated hues and raw wool texture evokes the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains—cool stone, clay warmth, and soft light.
