The Beni Ouraine rug, sized 150 x 250 cm, is a handwoven piece crafted from natural wool, rooted in the Berber tradition of the Ouadzem region. Its robust, thick surface features a matte finish with visible hand-tied knots, and the construction is accentuated by an organic, slightly uneven texture. A warm, creamy ivory serves as the base for bold, geometric patterns: a central magenta motif at the top, vertical golden-yellow zigzags along both sides, and a small yellow accent beneath the main design. Simple twisted fringes finish the edges, highlighting the artisanal character. The rug’s proportions allow it to function comfortably in both spacious and medium-sized interiors. The design draws on modernist abstraction, where geometric forms and color contrasts set a rhythmic visual language.
