This handwoven rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from pure wool and draws on the traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship from the Atlas region. The main field is a warm, off-white base, framed by two broad bands along the longer sides—geometric rows of alternating deep red and black rectangles create a rhythmic, graphic composition. The pile is thick and matte, highlighting the natural softness of the wool. Short, untreated fringes at the edges complete the piece, emphasizing artisanal precision and finish. The design merges Berber motifs with a minimalist approach, maintaining clear proportions and a well-defined color structure. The bold bands of color evoke rhythm and balance, while the simplicity of the form highlights the quality of the material.
