The Beni Ourain rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is handwoven from thick, natural wool, with a plush texture and matte finish that enhance the depth of its surface. A saturated green serves as the primary color, complemented by a bold yellow band at the lower edge and graphic geometric patterns: a central band of white and beige diamonds arranged in a grid, with a row of vertical white stripes below. Short white fringes accentuate the artisanal finishing, while the proportions allow the rug to function as either a statement centrepiece or a subtle backdrop. The design draws on traditional Berber motifs, reinterpreted in a contemporary minimalist language—strong color and clear geometry lend a sense of freshness and lightness. Tonal green gradations and the matte wool texture evoke a connection to nature, as though the rug brings the vibrancy of a garden after rain indoors.
