This handwoven Moroccan rug, measuring 150x250 cm, is crafted from pure wool in accordance with the Berber tradition of the Midelt region. Its surface features a creamy white base, adorned with two prominent central diamonds—one in mustard yellow, the other in terracotta—outlined in black and burgundy. Smaller yellow diamonds are symmetrically arranged around the main motifs. The borders are defined by irregular black bands, complemented by ochre and red accents, while short, hand-knotted fringes complete the composition. The dense, even weave and slightly plush, matte wool texture ensure comfort underfoot and underscore the artisanal character of the rug. The design reflects the landscape of the Atlas Mountains, where earthy tones and geometric forms translate into a visual rhythm.
