This handwoven rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from pure wool using traditional techniques from the Midelt region in the Moroccan Atlas. Its structure features a high, matte pile, while the surface is defined by geometric blocks inspired by Berber motifs. The composition combines muted pink, burnt orange, deep cobalt, ochre yellow, taupe-beige, and off-white, arranged asymmetrically with clear lines and right angles. Edges are finished with short, hand-tied fringes, and the dense weave ensures strength and everyday comfort. The form of the rug evokes a dialogue between the rawness of Moroccan land and modernist abstraction—each colored block echoes tradition, filtered through the sensibility of contemporary artisans.
