The Beni Ouarain handwoven rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from natural wool on a cotton warp. The hand-knotting technique produces a dense, soft pile with a matte, plush finish. Large, organic, abstract blocks of color—coral pink, deep orange, teal green, cream, black, and subtle hints of yellow and gray—flow seamlessly across the surface. Slight irregularities in the weave highlight the artisan process, and short, raw fringes along the edges add a rustic touch. The construction is robust, with tightly packed fibers ensuring durability and long-lasting quality. This rug expresses a visual language at the intersection of tradition and modernity—its geometric color fields evoke abstract painting and reference Berber motifs.
