This handwoven Berber rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region at the foot of the Atlas Mountains from high-quality wool on a cotton warp. Its dense, even weave gives the matte surface a subtly coarse texture, while the composition is defined by irregular geometric blocks in vivid hues: dominant pink, complemented by cobalt blue, deep black, burnt orange, white, forest green, mustard yellow, and brown. The lower edge is finished with twisted off-white fringes, a hallmark detail of Atlas-region rugs. The rug's balanced proportions and elongated form allow it to define the space in a living room or bedroom. The rug’s design tells the story of a meeting between Berber tradition and the language of contemporary design.
