This handwoven Moroccan Boujaad rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from natural wool and cotton in the Midelt region of the Atlas Mountains. The structure is built on dense, resilient pile with a matte surface, creating a soft and tactile texture. The design features geometric chevron stripes—warm beige forms the base for bold accents of magenta, pink, orange, grey, and amber, with each color blending organically into the next, reflecting the irregularity of hand-dyed wool. Slightly asymmetrical lines and short, hand-tied fringes at the ends are distinctive for Boujaad weaving. The style merges Berber motifs with modern geometry and color, fitting within mid-century modern aesthetics with boho influences. The rug expresses the authenticity of Moroccan craft through its organic color transitions and unique pattern.
