This handcrafted Berber rug from the Oued Zam region (150 x 250 cm) is woven from thick, natural wool on a cotton warp. The design features bold geometric stripes and blocks, visually dividing the surface: the left is dominated by lighter tones (ivory, beige, burgundy), while the right brings saturated contrasts in muted blue, ochre, mustard, and rust. The color transitions are clear with soft blending at the borders. The matte finish and tactile, slightly irregular weave highlight the artisanal origin. Simple white fringes frame the edges, adding a traditional touch. The rug merges Berber motifs with modern geometric abstraction, making it suitable for both contemporary and eclectic interiors. The pattern and texture evoke a sense of tangible authenticity—thick wool underfoot feels like soft earth, while the geometric color transitions recall a landscape divided by light.
