This handmade Berber rug, measuring 150 x 250 cm, is crafted from thick, natural wool that gives it a plush texture and authentic artisanal character. The base is a warm, creamy ivory, interrupted by three elongated, irregular vertical bands in deep navy, vibrant royal blue, and muted mauve-pink. Subtle cool accents—gray, clay, and amber—complete the composition in a matte finish. Short, hand-knotted fringes frame the edges, emphasizing the robust construction and craftsmanship. Each piece is woven on a loom in Morocco, resulting in a slightly uneven, soft surface and visible, hand-tied knots. The rug establishes a visual dialogue between restrained, contemporary abstraction and the traditional language of Berber symbolism.
