This handwoven Beni Ouarain rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Made entirely from natural, thick wool, it features a dense, robust construction and a plush, matte surface. The cream-colored base serves as a backdrop for bold geometric blocks: rectangles and stripes in green, cobalt, sky blue, olive, orange, and navy are arranged asymmetrically, creating a dynamic yet balanced composition. Both ends are finished with hand-tied fringes, and the even edges and tight weave underscore the artisanal quality. The overall design references mid-century modern aesthetics and abstract art while maintaining the authenticity of Moroccan craftsmanship.
