This handwoven rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from natural wool on a cotton warp in the Midelt region of Morocco, renowned for its textile traditions. The dense, thick pile forms a striking plane of cool-toned emerald green, punctuated by geometric blocks in golden ochre, amber, clay, stone grey, and ivory. The design features a rhythmic arrangement of central and corner diamonds, finished with short, natural wool fringes. Slightly irregular edges and subtle color variations reflect the artisanal nature of hand-dyeing and weaving. The pattern draws from both mid-century modern and Berber heritage, resulting in a minimalist yet impactful composition with a distinctly contemporary edge.
