This handmade Beni Ourain rug, sized 150 × 250 cm, is woven from pure, natural wool. Its construction features a geometric color-block composition: the upper two-thirds in warm off-white with a visible, matte texture of raw wool; the center crossed by an intense band of saturated pink; the lower third in deep red densely dotted with black. The rug is finished at one end with natural wool fringe, showing irregularities that emphasize its artisanal character. The minimalist design balances clear divisions of color with tactile, uneven surfaces, presenting a distinct yet understated palette. The rug’s visual narrative bridges tradition and modernity—bold blocks of color set against raw wool texture evoke a sense of freedom and energy.
