This handmade Berber rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from thick, natural wool, offering a plush, matte surface with a tactile, artisanal texture. The structure is defined by a clay-red rectangular field occupying the upper half of an ivory base, while the lower half features a loose arrangement of small black diamond motifs, creating a dynamic graphic grid. Both shorter edges are finished with hand-knotted fringes, blending ivory and clay-red threads. Subtle asymmetries in the weave and pattern highlight the handcrafted origin. The design draws inspiration from mid-century modern aesthetics and traditional Berber geometric language, balancing simplicity with artisanal skill.
