The Beni Ourain rug, measuring 150 x 250 cm, is handwoven in Morocco using natural wool on a cotton warp. Its structure features a dense, matte pile with a pronounced, soft texture and a hand-knotted row of white fringes along one edge. The checkerboard motif is divided vertically into two distinct halves: the left side displays saturated yellow and muted green, while the right side contrasts black with off-white. The geometric pattern remains slightly irregular, emphasizing the artisanal process and unique character of each piece.
