The Beni Ourain rug from Oued Zem is handwoven from natural wool, featuring a warm terracotta-orange base and large, irregular ivory shapes. This rectangular piece, measuring 150 × 250 cm, has a matte, soft surface and a thick, plush texture for comfort underfoot. Short, delicate fringes in white cotton finish the shorter edges, while the overall look is defined by minimalist, contemporary interpretations of traditional Berber motifs. The robust construction and neatly finished edges highlight the artisanal authenticity and craftsmanship of Moroccan weaving.
