The Beni Mrirt rug, measuring 150 × 260 cm, is entirely handmade in Ouadzem, Morocco, from thick natural wool. The material is rendered in a warm, creamy white tone, with a matte surface and dense, plush pile that reflect traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. A minimalist geometric pattern of bold black lines forms rectangles and squares, evoking Bauhaus and mid-century modern influences. Hand-knotted white wool fringes finish the edges, while the robust, tightly woven structure ensures durability and form stability. The rug shows no signs of use—its appearance is clean and versatile. The pattern creates a visual rhythm that both organizes and enlivens the space. The asymmetrical composition of abstract lines suggests a dialogue between tradition and the contemporary.
