This handwoven rug, measuring 160x240 cm, is crafted in Morocco’s Midelt region, referencing the Berber weaving tradition. The construction uses natural, undyed wool to create a thick, plush pile with a slightly irregular texture. A warm ivory background sets the stage for geometric color blocks: a vertical ochre-orange stripe, a lavender-pink field, a sky blue rectangle, and a deep indigo triangle. The edges are finished with short, uneven fringes. Traditional techniques and handcrafting ensure each piece is unique, while the matte surface with a subtle sheen enhances the tactile quality of the material.
