This handwoven pure wool rug, measuring 160 x 240 cm, is a contemporary piece inspired by Berber artistry from the Midelt region of Morocco. The dynamic composition features bold, angular blocks in deep red, mustard yellow, burnt orange, forest green, black, beige, and blush pink, intersected by diagonal lines. Along the right edge, a striking black-and-beige checkerboard introduces a graphic accent, contrasting with the irregular geometric forms across the surface. The matte, soft, and plush texture reveals subtle variations in pile height and distinctive short, natural fringes—each detail emphasizing artisanal origin.
