This handwoven rug, measuring 200 × 300 cm, is rooted in the contemporary Berber tradition of Morocco’s Midelt region. The structure features a dense, matte pile of pure natural wool, finished with short, hand-tied fringes along the shorter edges. A creamy background serves as a neutral base for irregular geometric fields in saturated shades of cobalt, mustard, terracotta, brown, turquoise, pink, and sienna. Each element of the composition is distinguished by subtle color transitions and varied scales of colored blocks, giving the rug a dynamic, organic character. The surface texture is gently uneven, underscoring its handmade origin and the authenticity of the craft.
