This handwoven Berber rug from the Midelt region measures 200 × 300 cm and is crafted from dense, natural wool. The composition features an asymmetrical arrangement of geometric blocks: deep cobalt blue, olive green, burnt orange, and magenta are set against a creamy base, with a dark green band accentuating the lower edge. The structure is compact and slightly shaggy, the surface matte, and the piece is finished with decorative fringes woven diagonally in alternating orange and white. The proportions and precise execution reference mid-century modern and abstract art, while visible irregularities confirm the authenticity of handcraft.
