This handwoven rug, sized 200 x 300 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region, where Berber artisan tradition informs a contemporary functional form. The thick pile, made from natural wool, creates a dense, soft structure with a matte finish. The base is a creamy ivory, overlaid with irregular geometric and organic shapes in deep navy, ochre, rust brown, and pastel pink, all arranged in an asymmetrical composition. The palette is matte, with subtly blended hues and a surface marked by the gentle irregularity characteristic of handwoven wool. Each edge features hand-tied natural wool fringes, emphasizing the artisanal nature and attention to detail.
