This handwoven rug, sized 200 × 300 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region of Morocco. Made from natural wool blended with cotton, it features a dense, matte pile with a soft, slightly plush texture. The composition is built on a creamy white background, intersected by a bold, black geometric hourglass motif. Sharp color transitions emphasize the rug’s graphic quality, while the proportions remain balanced with symmetrical black shapes mirrored on each side. The top edge is finished with a simple woven border, and the bottom with short, irregular fringes, both details highlighting the artisanal, handcrafted origin.
