This handwoven rug, measuring 240 × 160 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region of Morocco from natural wool with a cotton warp. The composition features a creamy white base punctuated by a bold rectangular block and three vertical stripes in mustard yellow, separated by contrasting black lines. The rug is finished with hand-knotted fringes, and its surface is matte with a high, plush pile. The visible irregularities in the pattern and texture are a testament to its artisanal origin, while the asymmetrical division gives the rug a graphic structure and a tangible softness.
