This handwoven rug, measuring approximately 250 × 150 cm, is crafted in Morocco’s Midelt region using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. The dominant ivory tone serves as a neutral background for a minimalist geometric composition: twelve clay-brown squares form a rhythmic pattern, separated by small black rectangles. The shorter edges are defined by alternating black and ivory stripes, while the longer sides are bordered by an olive green accent. The surface is dense and matte, with a plush, compact pile made from natural wool. Short, hand-tied fringes on the shorter edges highlight the artisanal quality of the rug. The overall design combines contemporary minimalism with Berber motifs, maintaining clear form and a balanced palette.
