This handwoven Berber rug, measuring 250 × 150 cm, is crafted from thick, natural wool and cotton using traditional artisanal techniques from the Midelt region. The composition features a neutral ivory base, punctuated by matte black and violet squares—one large, one small—arranged in an abstract, geometric layout inspired by Bauhaus and mid-century modern aesthetics. The dense weave creates a compact, durable structure, while the surface remains matte, soft, and subtly irregular to the touch. Short, natural fringes finish the shorter edges, highlighting the handcrafted nature of the piece.
