This handwoven rug, measuring approximately 250 x 150 cm, is crafted in the Midelt region of Morocco from natural wool using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The thick, dense weave creates a matte, plush surface characteristic of high-quality wool. A bold magenta and pink field dominates, accented by mint green, turquoise, cream, black, orange, ochre, and lavender. The abstract, geometric pattern is dynamic and asymmetrical, while the lower edge is finished with hand-tied natural wool fringes.
