This Berber Moroccan rug, measuring 250 × 150 cm, is handwoven from natural wool and finished with short fringes in blue tones. The main field features a cool, matte medium blue, forming a background for striking geometric shapes: a large blush pink section, a deep burgundy triangle outlined in mustard yellow, and a vertical navy stripe. Additional details include black contour lines and a small area of pale blue. The surface is soft, plush, and subtly textured, a result of high-quality wool and meticulous hand-knotting techniques. The rug speaks in the language of modernist abstraction, referencing the art of the 1950s.
