The Moroccan Berber rug, measuring 250 × 150 cm, is a contemporary example of craftsmanship from the Midelt region, handwoven from natural wool. Its composition features irregular, wide stripes in burgundy, burnt orange, mustard yellow, teal, magenta, black, cream, and taupe. The central field consists of color blocks, while the borders are decorated with diamond motifs in black and rust orange on a cream background. The matte finish enhances the natural texture, and the thick, plush, slightly uneven surface is a result of hand-knotting. Edges are finished with simple fringe, and subtle asymmetry along with visible handwork marks emphasize the uniqueness of the piece. The bold color palette and interplay of traditional Berber motifs with a modern abstract sensibility create a sense of vibrant, dynamic textile.
