This handmade Moroccan rug, measuring 250 × 150 cm, features a modern geometric design inspired by the aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s. A cool, matte blue serves as the base, intersected by a vivid magenta-red vertical stripe and a bold yellow geometric border that frames parts of the top and sides. Additional angular accents in orange, turquoise, and pink are positioned near the lower edge, giving the rug a multicolored, abstract character. The surface, woven from natural wool, is dense, soft, and gently textured, finished with short, raw fringes. The weave is even and compact, characteristic of handcraft from the Midelt region. The rug’s pattern echoes abstract modernist compositions—geometric divisions and vibrant colors create a visual rhythm that commands attention and defines the space.
