This handmade Moroccan rug, measuring 250 × 150 cm, exemplifies a contemporary approach to traditional Berber craftsmanship. The construction is based on a dense weave of natural wool, creating a plush surface with tangible texture. The design features large blocks of color—matte terracotta orange and off-white—contrasted by a bold checkerboard motif at the top and bottom edges. The central area is divided into two main fields, intersected by thin diagonal lines in the opposite color, lending the composition a dynamic, graphic quality. Short, irregular fringes at the edges highlight the artisanal and authentic character of the textile.
