This highboard, produced by Danish manufacturer Børge Dam in the 1970s, exemplifies classic mid-century modern design. The case is clad in teak veneer in a warm, medium brown shade with subtle reddish-orange undertones. The prominent, natural wood grain adds depth and texture, while the semi-matte finish provides a gentle satin sheen. Tapered solid wood legs elevate the long, rectangular form, imparting visual lightness and balanced proportions characteristic of Scandinavian modernism. The highboard features sliding doors with integrated rectangular recessed handles, two spacious drawers, and two height-adjustable interior shelves. An additional feature is the integrated bar compartment, complete with a decorative mirror and a fixed shelf. The piece is in very good condition: the surface has been refreshed, with only minor scratches and small areas of veneer repair, consistent with careful restoration.
