The Highboard Model 19, produced by Danish manufacturer Omann Jun in the 1970s, is a classic example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. The cabinet features a teak veneer body in a warm medium brown shade with a subtle reddish undertone, enhanced by a satin-matte finish that highlights the natural grain and depth of the wood. Slender, tapered solid wood legs elevate the long, rectangular silhouette, lending a sense of visual lightness. The front is defined by four sliding doors with integrated, vertically carved handles that echo the organic character of the design. Inside, four shelves and six drawers—each with adjustable height—offer flexible storage solutions. The sliding doors allow for efficient use of space, making the highboard practical as an audio equipment base or for other living room needs.
