Produced by the renowned German manufacturer WMF in the early 20th century, this inkwell exemplifies Art Nouveau design with clear influences of early modernist geometry. Crafted from silver-plated pewter, it features a compact, architectural form with a low profile and wide base. Trapezoidal sides, geometric cutouts, and a flat lid topped with a stylized triangular handle are hallmarks of the Jugendstil movement.
