The 'Ostrich' figurine, designed by Hanna Orthwein, was produced by the Krzysztof Porcelain Factory in Wałbrzych based on a 1956 design and manufactured during the 1960s. Crafted from glazed, hand-painted porcelain, the piece features an elongated, slender silhouette in a modernist style. The main color is a warm, slightly creamy white with a glossy finish, complemented by hand-painted black stripes on the tail and legs and a subtle black dot for the eye. The figurine stands on a rounded base in a pearly lavender-gray hue with an iridescent sheen. The mark “WAWEL / MADE IN POLAND” confirms its origin and authenticity. The height of the figurine is 17.5 cm. The condition is excellent—the surface is smooth, with no visible damage or signs of repair.
