ABOUT PRODUCTID 16951
This Art Deco jardinière, produced by J. Stolle Niemen Glassworks in Brzozówka between 1926 and 1939, represents the largest model within its series. Pressed rosaline glass defines its softly translucent, pastel peach-pink hue, accompanied by a subtle warmth. The exterior is distinguished by a fan-like array of sharp, geometric facets radiating outward—a motif emblematic of the Art Deco period, embracing modern symmetry, angular lines, and a sculptural approach. Satin-matte surfaces are interspersed with gentle gloss on the raised and beveled segments, enhancing the play of light and accentuating the clarity of the design. Thick walls add a sense of structural solidity, while the ground and polished base reflects precise craftsmanship. The jardinière is preserved in excellent, original condition, with no signs of wear, scratches, or repairs. This piece echoes a time when modernity was celebrated—its disciplined symmetry and assertive lines channel the optimism of the interwar years. The pastel glass conjures images of refined 1930s interiors, where geometric discipline intersected with luxurious materials. Every detail—from the satin glow to the crisp, radiating ‘fan’ pattern—whispers stories of movement, light, and the eternal pursuit of harmony between ornament and function. It would be well placed on a dark wooden console or a stone-top sideboard, where ambient light will highlight the depth and texture of the glass. In classical
