This jardiniere, designed by Joseph Hoffmann and crafted by the renowned Moser glassworks in Czechoslovakia around 1922, exemplifies early 20th-century decorative art glass. The body is formed from ruby glass, its deep red hue achieved by adding gold during production—resulting in a rich, saturated tone with a highly reflective finish. The faceted, geometric exterior is adorned with a broad oroplastic frieze, rendered in matte gold and patinated green.
