This Biedermeier opaline glass jardiniere from around 1830 is an example of Austrian glassmaking craftsmanship from the early 19th century. Made of white opaline glass with a soft, milky hue, it has a smooth, satin-matte finish that enhances its refined yet understated appearance. The form is inspired by the traditional wooden tub, with a gently flared body, rounded base, and harmonious proportions: 22 cm in width, 19.5 cm in diameter, and 14 cm in height.
