This Biedermeier uranium glass jardiniere, crafted in Austria circa 1880–1900, features a bucket-shaped form measuring 15.5 × 11 cm and a height of 11 cm. Four pronounced, upwardly flared lobes define its silhouette, with precisely cut and polished edges along the rim, sides, and underside. The translucent yellow-green hue results from uranium oxide in the glass, giving the piece a luminous glow under UV light. Two opposite panels display diamond-pattern medallions with radiating cuts, while the body is segmented into vertical, rounded scallops typical of late Biedermeier glassware.
