This 19th-century jewelry box, crafted entirely from bronze, is a distinguished specimen of Gothic Revival decorative art. With dimensions of 22 × 12 × 8 cm (height extended to 12 cm with the raised handle), the box stands on four corner feet featuring characteristic gothic cutouts. The lid and sides are adorned with deep, high-relief panels depicting religious scenes, set within pointed arches and flanked by miniature columns—motifs echoing the medieval ecclesiastical art that inspired the Gothic Revival. The robust, angular handle rises above the lid, attached by strongly profiled decorative hinges. The box’s main color is a warm, slightly muted golden bronze, accented with areas of darker, aged patina.
