This French jewelry box from the late 19th century is crafted from faceted crystal glass, set in ornate gilded brass mounts. The construction rests on four cabriole-style legs adorned with vegetal and scroll motifs, typical of the late Victorian or Belle Époque period. The clear, cool-toned crystal refracts light, highlighting the refined details of the metalwork. Decorative beading borders the brass frame, while the hinged lid closes with a small, ornamental clasp. Inside, remnants of the original silk tapestry lining remain, with a soft, gently textured surface.
