This crystal water or wine jug, produced circa 1910 by J.P. Kayser Sohne in Krefeld, Germany, reflects the transition between Art Nouveau and early Art Deco. The tall, subtly conical body is crafted from clear, high-quality crystal glass, richly decorated with geometric and floral cut patterns that create striking prismatic reflections. The faceted surface gives the jug a pronounced, three-dimensional texture. The upper fittings – including an elongated, angular handle, hinged lid with a small thumb lever, and a collar around the spout – are made of silver-plated white brass with a lustrous, polished finish.
