This Art Nouveau samovar was produced around 1900 by the German manufacturer WMF. The body is made of highly polished, golden-hued brass with a mirror-like finish that skillfully reflects light and accentuates the smooth, rounded forms. The handle is wrapped in natural raffia in a subtle beige, adding a tactile, organic contrast, while the lid is topped with a medium brown wooden knob for another natural accent. The hallmark fluid lines and geometric symmetry of the Jugendstil period are evident in the domed body, elongated spout, and supporting arms adorned with delicate triangular motifs. The proportions are harmonious, and the construction is precise—with visible rivets and well-fitted joints attesting to the quality craftsmanship. The brass surface is smooth, showing only minor signs of use such as small scratches and a light patina.
